ARTIST PROFILE: DECON
 

Born and raised in San Diego’s north county, DJ Decon was submerged in music since he can remember. Beginning with the trumpet, then guitar, bass, and drums, Decon had a knack for making music. With his move to San Diego State University his band broke up but his love of music drove him to quickly find a new love: DJing. At 19 Decon bought his first turntables and began mixing in his dorm room. He quickly moved on to DJ fraternity/sorority events and private events.
