Camp Wave House Kicks Off Summer!

Camp Wave House kicked off the Summer 2011 season last week with Session I just as the weather turned warm. 30 campers had a blast experiencing everything Wave House and Belmont Park have to offer, not to mention the beautiful San Diego sunshine. Time at the beach was spent playing games like dodge ball, beach flags and even water balloon toss. The kids also had plenty of time to practice their body-boarding and body-surfing skills, all with the help of our awesome counselors and lifeguards.

When they were ready for a break from the sun, campers enjoyed the attractions at Belmont Park; an arcade, glow in the dark miniature golfing, and even mirror and laser mazes. One of their favorite days was when they jumped on the Sky Ropes course and got to climb the rock wall. The various Belmont Park rides were also a favorite, but overall, the campers fell in love with our FlowRider. By the end of the week many of them had mastered the art of FlowBoarding, and every camper got an award for being so awesome!
