Team USA, Representing Wave House San Diego, Brings Home the Gold

The biggest event in flowriding has come and gone. Wave House Durban, South Africa was host to the best flowriders in the world as the FLOW (Flowriding League Of the World) Championships came to a close on October 9, 2011. The international event had teams from Europe, Asia, Chile, South Africa, Dubai and the USA going head to head to see who would bring home the coveted team trophy. |

Andy Gold, Local Flowriding Videographer
Andy is one of those lively spirits whose contagious energy and ambition rubs off the minute you talk to him. From traveling and shooting all around the world to just finishing filming and producing Chlorine Dream, Andy still manages to find time to surf and hang out with his buddies. This guy has a lot of experience under his belt, especially in the flowriding industry. He's also got some inspiring words for us. Enough of this intro, let's see what Andy has to say. |

Luke Overin
Age: 12
Stance: Goofy!
Years riding: Ocean-4 yrs; Flow-2 yrs
Favorite trick: My favorite trick is an Invert. They feel so nice if you do a good one. My new trick I’ve been working on is a back flip; hopefully I’ll land one soon.
Why do you love flowriding? It is just such a great feeling. I love how the power of the jets can make you just boost. |
